Terms & Milestone Policy

Effective Date: October 2026 • Outlines project milestones, IP ownership, revision limits, and refund terms.

1. Project Kickoff & Scope of Work

Each project begins with a mutually confirmed scope of deliverables outlining the number of pages, design specifications, timeline, and pricing. Any additional requirements requested outside the agreed scope will be quoted separately as an add-on.

2. Milestone Payment Structure (50% / 50%)

To maintain transparency and mutual accountability, all fixed-price projects operate under a two-stage milestone system:

Milestone 1 • Kickoff

50% Advance

Due upon contract agreement before commencement of design wireframing, architecture, and coding sprints.

Milestone 2 • Completion

50% Upon Final Approval

Due after you review the working demo link and approve the finished deliverable, prior to live DNS pointing and repository handover.

3. Source Code, Domain & Asset Ownership

You retain 100% ownership of your business assets:

Upon receipt of final milestone payment, full copyright and intellectual property (IP) for custom codebases, vector logos, and graphic assets are permanently assigned to you.
Domain names and third-party hosting accounts are registered under your name or credentials, ensuring you maintain absolute control.
SCODE360 retains the limited right to display screenshots and links of the completed deliverable in our public agency portfolio and case studies.

4. Revisions Policy

We believe in collaborative partnership and incorporate structured revision rounds into every project:

Starter Plan: 1 structured round of design feedback.
Business Growth Plan: 2 structured rounds of design & layout feedback.
Full Digital Setup: 3 structured rounds of feedback.

Revisions include color pattern tweaks, typography changes, layout rearrangements, and text updates. A complete overhaul of the approved concept after frontend development is underway will be subject to a nominal change-order fee.

5. Cancellation & Refund Policy

Our refund terms are structured to be fair to both parties:

Before Design Commences: If a project is cancelled within 48 hours of advance payment and before wireframing begins, a 100% refund is issued minus payment gateway processing fees.
During Design Phase: If cancelled after initial design concepts have been presented, the 50% advance covers labor already expended, and no further payments are due.
Post-Delivery: Once final code and assets have been handed over or deployed live to your domain, payments are non-refundable.

6. 3-Month Free Support Warranty

All website deliverables include 3 months of complimentary technical support starting from the date of live launch. This covers:

Bug fixes and styling repairs directly attributable to our codebase.
Basic text, contact number, or image updates requested via WhatsApp/email.
Core Web Vitals and speed health checks.

Support does not include adding new pages or third-party plugins not in the original contract.

7. Jurisdiction & Dispute Resolution

These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of India. In the event of any dispute arising out of or in connection with these terms, the parties agree to resolve the matter in good faith through mutual discussion before submitting to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Tamil Nadu, India.
